Once you have joined myDigitalLife as a panel member you will be sent survey invitations to your email address from time to time. Clicking on a link in the invitation email will take you directly to the survey.

It all depends on your profile. You could receive anything up to 4 invitations per month. You are free to take part in as many of the surveys you are invited to participate in as you wish.

A survey lasts on average 5 to 15 minutes. We try to ensure that all the surveys will be as short, simple and relevant as possible.

No, the information you share with us is purely for market research purposes. Under no circumstances will these surveys make you use or recommend a product or service nor will we attempt to promote a product or service through a survey.

Usually you have 2 - 3 days to answer the survey. The email invitation to the survey will let you know the closing date of the survey.

Cash prize draws will be run every month. The value of the prize draw on offer may vary from survey to survey but you will be informed of the prizes on offer and the terms and conditions when you are invited to take part in the survey.

Prize Draw winners are chosen at random, giving every survey respondent an equal chance of winning a prize.

If you have forgotten your password, click on "forgot my login or password" below the login area and enter your email address. You will then receive an email with your password and username.

To change your password and email address, you should login, then click on Registration in your personal area. Enter your new password and then confirm it. For your email address, enter your new address and click on ‘Confirm changes’.

To change your personal information you must login and go to your personal area. You will then have access to all your data, which you can modify at any time. Remember to click ‘Confirm changes’ after modifying your details.

To terminate your account, log-in to your personal area and click on "Cancel Membership". Your account will be unsubscribed if you click on this button. Please note that it can sometimes take a few days for this to be processed. In accordance with the data protection legislation and the Code of the Market Research Society, all your personal data will be deleted.

The myDigitalLife Panel collects some personal data about each member for a number of reasons. First, it enables us to contact you about research to take part in and any prize you have won. Secondly, it enables us to contact you with just those surveys which are relevant to you. Thirdly, it helps us to analyse our survey data by for example, your gender, age, or what region you live in. When this is done, the results will be shown only in aggregated form (ie everyone’s answers added together) and it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results.

MyDigitalLife takes the security of your personal data very seriously and abides by the UK Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the UK Data Protection Act 1998. In most cases the research will be used internally by ITV Consumer to inform us about the products and services customers want from us. However, from time to time research findings may be commissioned specially for publication, and you may see the results of our surveys in newspapers and on television.
